This is why it is so important to get a good night’s rest. We have created a guide on some of our favorite tips on how to get a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

  • Drinking water during the day. When we are thirsty our body is already dehydrated, stay on top of your water intake by sipping on water throughout the day. Your skin and body will thank you for it.

  • Walking. Either in the morning or evening walking is such a good de-stressor. One of our favourite and best-kept secrets in Sydney is Barangaroo Reserve. Formerly Sydney’s oldest industrial site, over 6 hectares have been transformed into green space with walkways and bike paths housing only Australian Native Plants.

  • Fresh sheets. Cotton or linen - there are so many organic and eco options to choose from. We love In Bed Store for their European Flax® certified linen (this means that the flax growers and traders follow environmental best practices).

  • Winding down for bed. We have a rule in our house that no screens are in the bedroom, we also keep a stack of books on the bedside table. At night time I light a candle, write a list of 5 things I am grateful for then pick up my current book.
